INDEPENDENT CODEX RESET TRACKER
Codex reset FAQ: reset time, alerts and banked cards
Short answers about how this tracker works. Check the linked public evidence before treating a report as an announcement.
When will Codex reset?
This tracker cannot promise a reset time. It shows collected evidence and an experimental 24/48-hour rule estimate when data is sufficient. Personal account windows and a publicly reported reset event are different things. Check your own account for your actual remaining usage.
Does 99% mean a reset is confirmed?
No. A 99% reading is still a forecast. An event becomes confirmed in this tracker only after administrator review of its source, type and time.
What is a banked reset?
In this tracker, banked means a reset card was reportedly issued for later use; usage means a direct usage reset. Check the source for eligibility and your account for whether you actually received a card.
Why is a probability missing or provisional?
Sources can be stale, missing or temporarily inaccessible, or there may be too little relevant evidence. A recent unresolved reset report can leave a provisional reading visible while automatic probability alerts are paused.
Which emails will I receive?
After email confirmation, subscriptions can receive eligible 99% threshold alerts and administrator-confirmed reset notifications. Other collected posts are not emailed individually. Use an email’s unsubscribe link to stop alerts.
Does the model confirm events automatically?
No. The optional model summarizes new evidence under a call budget. It cannot mark a reset as confirmed or broadcast an event notification.
Is this affiliated with OpenAI or willcodexreset.com?
No. This is a separately operated community instance with its own collection, subscriptions and experimental rules. The live forecast is not copied from the reference tracker, and this site does not represent OpenAI.
Can I read updates without subscribing by email?
Yes. The dashboard and public history are available without an account. The RSS feed at /feed.xml contains administrator-confirmed reset events. Browser alerts require permission on this domain.
